About Me

I was born and raised in Salinas, California—a fertile stretch of land best known for its agriculture and as the hometown of John Steinbeck. My roots are humble, grounded in the dusty fields and golden coastlines of Central California. Life shaped me early: my father passed away in a motorbike accident when I was just nine years old. From that moment on, my world shifted. My mother, a courageous and resilient woman, raised me single-handedly. She carried the weight of the world on her shoulders with quiet strength and deep love, and her example gave me the foundation I needed to stand tall in the face of adversity.

High school was a unique mix of experiences that helped me forge a strong sense of identity. I was deeply involved in FFA (Future Farmers of America), where I learned responsibility through the daily care and raising of livestock. Mornings often started before sunrise—feeding animals, cleaning stalls, preparing for shows—and these early rhythms of discipline have stayed with me throughout life.

But I wasn’t just a farm kid. I had a curious mind and a love for strategy and movement, which led me to become president of both the chess club and the sailing club. Whether navigating a chessboard or catching wind on the open water, I was drawn to the delicate balance of intuition and logic. These contrasting interests—earth and mind, body and spirit—would eventually evolve into the foundation of my creative and spiritual life.

After graduating high school, something in me yearned for a deeper understanding of the unseen world. I began seeking out meditation classes and stumbled upon something that would change my life forever: the San Jose Psychic Institute. Twice a week, I’d travel to San Jose to study clairvoyance and energy work. We practiced reading auras, interpreting energetic imprints, and learning how to refine and control our psychic abilities. I gave my first clairvoyant readings there, learning how to navigate the subtle realms of spirit while staying grounded in my daily life. At the same time, I attended community college during the day, balancing the metaphysical with the mundane.

Eventually, I decided to continue my education and transferred across the country to Castleton University in Vermont. Nestled in the quiet green mountains, I pursued a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology. My studies there gave me a scientific framework to understand human behavior, trauma, and healing—concepts I had already been intuitively exploring through my spiritual training. It was in Vermont, among the snow-laced winters and forested summers, that I developed a deep appreciation for both the inner and outer landscapes of the mind.

After graduating, I felt an undeniable urge to travel. I bought a one-way ticket abroad and began a journey that would take me across Norway and eventually to Southeast Asia. It was in Thailand that I found my second home, nestled in the mountains of Chiang Mai. Something about the rhythm of life there—the community, the spiritual focus, the accessibility of healing traditions—resonated with my soul.

Then 2020 happened.

The pandemic locked borders, grounded flights, and disrupted life as we knew it. But in that stillness, something remarkable happened: I finished my first novel, Worlds Within. It had been inside me for years—a multidimensional adventure, a love story, a healing myth wrapped in symbolism and ancient memory. Writing it was a form of catharsis. In many ways, the solitude of lockdown gave me the space to finally bring that story to life.

Since then, life in Thailand has continued to blossom. I’ve immersed myself in a spiritual community rooted in plant medicine, shadow work, creative expression, and self-discovery. My path as a facilitator, writer, and healing arts practitioner is fueled by a desire to help others reclaim their inner wisdom—just as I have reclaimed mine. I’ve worked with women healing from trauma, led ceremonial journeys, and supported people in reconnecting with their bodies, voices, and purpose.

My writing is an extension of this work. It’s how I process, transmit, and share the truths I’ve lived. Worlds Within is more than a book; it’s a portal, a mirror, and a map. It tells the story of a young woman destined to return an ancient artifact to Inner Earth, assisted by interdimensional allies and pursued by shadowy forces. But beneath the layers of fantasy is a deeply human story—of healing, remembrance, and love.

And now, I’m working on Worlds Within: Book 2—a continuation of the journey, both for my characters and for myself. The writing process, much like the spiritual path, is not always linear. It requires courage, vulnerability, and the willingness to be seen. But every time someone tells me they saw themselves in my story, that they cried, or remembered who they are—every time that happens, I know it’s worth it.

People often ask me how I became a writer, especially since English isn’t my first language. The truth is, you don’t need perfect grammar or a degree in literature to tell a story. What you need is a voice—and the bravery to use it. Anyone can write a book, but no one else can write your book. Your story is sacred because it is yours, and the act of telling it is a form of liberation.

So if you’re reading this and wondering whether your story matters, let me tell you: it does. You don’t have to be born a writer—you just have to be honest, devoted, and willing to grow. Writing has taught me that healing and storytelling are one and the same. Both ask us to revisit the past, claim our truths, and imagine new possibilities.

I am still on that journey. Still learning. Still writing.

And I hope that in some way, my story encourages you to tell yours.
